Now that Spotify is live in the United States, we take a look at the Android and iPhone apps. How do these compare to the likes of Pandora, Mog and Slacker Radio?

@AngloMonsTr Yes it’s not Spotify’s fault, but there is Grooveshark – works in every country and bigger song database.

Spotify is crap as it does not work in every country…
I give most of my music away for free under a creative commons license for non commercial use. I am happy that people want to download my music and share it. But if you can afford to pay and would like to help me and other struggling artists like me to make a living, then why not consider some of the alternatives, for example…. @MrZero999999 sorry to burst your bubble but Grooveshark will shut down very soon. They are being sued for illegally uploading songs.
Spotify is great as the right-holder’s to the music get paid royalties. If they, or a future service similar to them, replace having to purchase music online, we will see performing rights organizations targeting them to obtain a higher royalty cost. Let’s hope Spotify will survive.

hi question for you … if i downloud spotify and lets say a friend send me a song and that friend is not friends with me on facebook and i dont want him/her to see my wall and stuff she cant right ?

@split1231 there’s no way to listen to music on your phone with the unlimited account. you’ll need the premium one.

Let’s see how Spotify does? Hahaha, its already more populer then anything you just mentioned AND its not a US only service AND it has A LOT more tracks then any other service and its expanding with 10.000 tracks per day. If your going to hitch your wagon to a music streaming service then Sporify is the only real choice.
