Instead of letting iTunes pick your songs, why don’t you create your own playlists, and sync them? You will need to connect your iPod, then go to the Music tab. Change your sync option from “All Songs and Playlists” to “Selected Playlists”. Then put a tick next to all the playlists you want to sync. What do you think? Answer below! by Megan Terry Question by Jazz: I made a new itunes library so I would have two libraries but I can’t find my old one. Please help!? I wanted to make another itunes library so my sister and I can use itunes on the same computer without having to have separate computer log ins. So I did that but now the new itunes library seems to have taken over. When I click on the screen icon it comes up with the new “empty” itunes when i go into menu it is the new itunes and even when I go into the files and click what I believe is the old itunes ie it’s just called itunes and not the new name I have given the new itunes library it comes up with the new itunes!. I just want to know if there is someway to find my other itunes or some way to switch between them. Please help! I’ve made so many play lists and ....> The Post Continues Here! <--

Ok, so recently my computer (Hp Mini 210-1010NR) messed up, so I had to install Windows 7 and erase EVERYTHING! (iTunes, Pictures, Music, ect. Except for some music and pictures on thumbdrives, SD Cards, DSi XL, and my PSP) So, when I plugged in my iPod Nano (the touch screen one) It said: “The iPod “Cici’s Moozic Lawl” is synced with another iTunes library. Do you want to erase this iPod and sync with this iTunes library? An iPod can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iPod with the contents of this iTunes library. I have an ipod touch and have been using it to download music and purchase music from the ipod itself. I just bought an apple macbook pro and when i went to transfer all of my music it merely put all of the music i “purchased” over the years via itunes on the new itunes on my mac. That means over 50% of my music didn’t transfer. I am wondering if I just have to set my laptop to new settings saying “transfer all music” or something on the “my ipod” tab. I don’t want to lose any music so please help me. Basically I am saying that it took only my purchases from itunes and none of the music i got from CD’s and such. I added some CD’s to iTunes on another computer and put them on my iPod. Now that I want to clear my iPod and start making new folders over again, I want to be able to copy all of the songs that I didn’t purchase to my “new” iTunes without having to find the CD’s again. Question by Eric B: I think I’ve accidentally deleted everything on my iTunes. How do I get it all back? I moved the iTunes folder from “My Music” to “Public Music” and went to Windows Media Player and removed “Public Music” from its library locations. The “Public Music” folder appears to be deleted and there’s a new “iTunes” folder under “My Music” but it doesn’t have any music in it. Also my iTunes library doesn’t have anything in it. Is there any way to either reverse what I’ve done or to get the information from my iPod Touch onto to my computer? After downloading iTunes 10, when I try to double click on a song and play it straight from iTunes on the computer, the song plays about 5-8 seconds, then stops, plays a few more second, then skips to the next song. It just keeps doing this…it won’t just play the song like it used to in the old versions of iTunes. Is anyone else having this problem? I’ve closed iTunes and restarted with no luck.
